At Almarte, we believe in a world where love, community & nature thrive together.
Our ceremonial cacao is born from regenerative farming, nurtured with respect & infused with our deepest intention to bring people together.
This cacao is born from regenerative farming, in harmony with nature, embracing biodiversity, sustainable practices & deep respect for the land.
We’re on a mission to create a post-capitalistic, community-driven movement that goes far beyond cacao.
We're gathering a global network of facilitators, cacao alchemists & heart-led communities, sharing not only the magic of cacao but also the spirit of regeneration & collaboration.
Whether you're sharing a cup of our sacred cacao, guiding a ceremony, holding space or being a community member or leader:
you're not just a guest;
There’s a world of magic, love & community waiting for you
& we can’t wait to walk this path together! ❤️

Our 120-hectare farm in the Dominican Republic is a thriving food forest with 100,000+ trees—including 60,000 cacao trees of 15 varieties—grown on restored pastureland. Celebrated globally, it’s a living model of regenerative agriculture, rich with fruit, medicine, and biodiversity.

Our cacao grows in a lush, biodiverse food forest—not in monoculture. Guided by agroforestry and permaculture, we grow cacao alongside tropical fruits, medicinal plants, and pollinator habitats—no chemicals, just pure, high-vibration cacao rooted in a self-sustaining ecosystem.

From hand-harvesting to sun-drying and fine-grinding, every step of our cacao’s journey is done with love and care. Our small-batch process preserves its rich flavor, medicinal properties, and spiritual essence—supporting both people and planet with every bean.
Unprocessed, unroasted, and alive with nutrients, energy, and spirit.
Grown on our own regenerative farm right next to Las Haitises National Park—no blending, full traceability.
Biodiverse, chemical-free and machine-free agroforestry. Fair wages and community care.
Crafted for clarity, connection, and heart-opening rituals.
Crafted in limited quantities with care and precision to preserve its pure, rich essence.
Dozens of species of tropical fruits and spices grow beside our cacao—infusing it with wild aroma and rainforest soul.

✨ Drink it in a cacao ceremony
✨ Use it for deep work, meditation, or creative flow
✨ Replace coffee with a natural, nourishing alternative
✨ Enjoy it as a daily ritual for energy and balance
Warm 200-250ml of water or plant-based milk (like oat, almond, coconut, etc). DO NOT boil it, as high heat can destroy some of the beneficial compounds - 40°C to 50°C is just about perfect :)
Use 20-50g of ceremonial cacao (adjust based on your preference).
Use a hand whisk, blender, or traditional molinillo to mix until smooth and creamy.
If stirring manually, be patient and infuse your movement with intention. Take your time, don't rush. Sing - the Cacao Spirit loves singing.
✨ Spices – Cinnamon, chili, cardamom, cloves, star anise, ginger, curcuma or vanilla.... You can experiment with different combinations of spices! :)
🍯 Natural Sweeteners – Honey, dates, or coconut sugar if desired.
🍄 Adaptogens & Superfoods – Maca, ashwagandha, or reishi for extra benefits.
Before taking your first sip, pause, breathe, and connect. Hold your cup, set an intention, and drink with full awareness.
🌎 Feel the cacao, open your heart, awaken your senses, and bring yourself into the present moment.
You can also prepare cacao as a paste for rituals, infuse it into smoothies, or enjoy it as a chocolatey elixir with nut butter.
🔥 Drink mindfully, and let the cacao guide you.
💧 Stay Hydrated! Drinking water after cacao helps support digestion, balance its stimulating effects, and keep your body hydrated as cacao naturally activates circulation and detoxification.

Ceremonial cacao is pure, whole-bean cacao, traditionally prepared and used for rituals, meditation, and heart-opening experiences. It differs a lot from regular cacao powder or chocolate. It is raw, contains all natural fats, and is made with intention—honoring its sacred history.
Almarte cacao comes exclusively from our own farm in the Dominican Republic, where we personally oversee every step—from growing and harvesting to fermentation and crafting. Unlike mass-produced cacao, ours is completely pure, minimally processed, and full of life force, preserving all its natural nutrients, rich flavor, and spiritual energy.
YES! While we go beyond just organic certification, our cacao is grown without pesticides, fertilizers, or chemicals, using regenerative and biodynamic farming techniques that nourish both the land and the people who cultivate it.
Almarte cacao does not carry a Fair Trade label because we go beyond Fair Trade—we are the farmers. Rather than paying large certification fees, we own and cultivate our own land, ensuring that everyone involved—from seed to harvest—is paid fairly, treated with respect, and thrives in their work. By cutting out intermediaries, we create a direct, ethical, and sustainable trade model that truly benefits both people and the planet.

YES! Many people drink cacao daily as a coffee alternative or ritual practice. Since it contains theobromine (a gentle stimulant) instead of caffeine, it provides sustained energy without jitters or crashes. Listen to your body and adjust your intake based on how you feel.
Ceremonial cacao is generally safe, but avoid or reduce intake if you:
❌ Have heart conditions (theobromine slightly increases heart rate).
❌ Take antidepressants (MAOIs, SSRIs) (cacao contains MAO inhibitors).
❌ Are pregnant or breastfeeding (consume in moderation).
⚠️ Children - be mindful with dosage.
Our cacao is grown, harvested, and prepared on our own farm in the Dominican Republic using regenerative farming practices. Every bean is hand-selected, fermented naturally, and finely ground into pure ceremonial cacao blocks—preserving its power, nutrients, and energy.
Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Ideally, store in an airtight container to maintain freshness. No need to refrigerate, but avoid extreme heat to prevent melting.
